Eco-Eggs is an Easter egg coloring kit made with purple sweet potato, paprika, beta carotene, red cabbage and blueberries. Search ”nests” to find dissolvable capsules (enough to color eggs twice) and two soy crayons for decorating.

- Boil eggs until hard-boiled (about 10 minutes).
- While the eggs are boiling, fill 5 bowls with enough hot tap water to cover the eggs.
- Drop one capsule* of selected color into each bowl; they will dissolve in 10 minutes.
- After eggs have been hard-boiled, wash with soap and water then submerge in white vinegar for 5 minutes.
- Then place eggs in colored solution and let stand for 10-20 minutes.
- Take eggs out of solution and place into egg carton to dry.
*Use second capsule for more vibrant colors or save for next year! Capsules may also be opened and poured directly into the water. Colors may stain.
